Welcome to U-Pull-It York
Our 20 acre York breakers yard is conveniently located near Stamford Bridge in the East Riding of Yorkshire, next to Full Sutton RAF airstrip. It is just 13 miles from York city centre and 30 miles from Hull. Our York breakers yard is 21 miles south of Pickering, and it is also reachable from Scarborough, Leeds, Harrogate, Doncaster, Wakefield and Scunthorpe.
Please note that at our York breakers yard the last permitted entry is half an hour before the yard’s closing time each day.
Driving Directions:
From York city centre: Follow the A166 east and turn right towards Moor Lane after Stamford Bridge. At the end of the road, turn left onto Moor Lane, then turn right onto Common Lane.
From Hull Ferry Terminal: Head west down Hedon Rd/A1033 and take the first exit on the roundabout, then continue to follow the A63. Go through one roundabout, then take the A1034 exit towards York/Mkt Weighton/South Cave. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the A1034, then at the next roundabout take the first exit onto the A1079 and go through one more roundabout. Turn right onto The Balk, go straight over through two roundabouts, and after Fangfoss turn left onto Common Lane.
From the north/Pickering: Follow the A169 south and at the roundabout take the second exit onto Town St/B1257. Go straight on at the mini roundabout, then after 1.5 miles turn left at Butcher Corner onto Castlegate/B1248. Turn right onto Welham Rd and continue onto Whitewall Corner Hill. Follow the road for approximately 8 miles, and then turn left onto Dolegate. At the end of the road turn left onto the A166, then turn right towards Moor Lane, and left onto Moor Lane at the end of the road. Turn right onto Common Lane.
From the south/Doncaster: Follow the M18 northeast and keep right onto the M62 towards Hull/York/Goole. Exit at Junction 37 onto the A614 and take the second exit on the roundabout onto Boothferry Rd/A614. Go straight through four roundabouts. Turn left at the next roundabout onto Shipton Lane/A614, and left at the next roundabout onto York Rd. Turn right onto The Balk, go straight over through two roundabouts, and after Fangfoss turn left onto Common Lane.
From London: Follow the M1 north and keep left at Junction 32 to take the M18 towards The North/Doncaster, Hull. At Junction 7, keep right to follow the M62 towards Hull, York, Goole, then at Junction 37, exit onto the A614 towards Bridlington/York/Howden. Go through four roundabouts, then at the next roundabout take the first exit onto York Rd/A1079. Turn right onto The Balk, go straight over through two roundabouts, and after Fangfoss turn left onto Common Lane.
