Step 2 – Come visit!
With your research done, you’re ready to come down and see the super savings for yourself.
When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by our friendly team – and a grants you instant access to explore our unbelievable inventory of cars and parts.
Paid £1 to get in? Then you’re all set to go!
Pick up a wheelbarrow (provided free of charge for you to borrow) and get ready to get out into our yards!
Remember, whilst we do provide the wheelbarrows, you’ll need to bring your own tools.
Never been to a breaker’s yard before? Here are the essential tools you should bring to make the most from your visit.
Spanners: These help in loosening and tightening nuts and bolts, essential for removing various car parts securely.
Screwdrivers: Used for removing screws, which are commonly found in different components of a vehicle, such as interior panels or engine parts.
Pliers: Useful for gripping, bending, or cutting materials, assisting in extracting smaller components or handling wires.
Socket Set: Essential for bolt removal, particularly for parts that may be tightly secured, like engine components or wheels.
Crowbar/Pry Bar: Helps in prying apart parts or components that might be tightly fitted, like interior panels or certain engine elements.
Hammer: Useful for gently tapping or knocking parts to loosen them or separate components without causing damage.
Power tools and jacks, however, aren’t permitted in our yard for safety reasons. So please leave these at home!
High visibility jackets are available for purchase on arrival or for free if you become a U-Pull-It member, but you can also bring your own! You’ll need one to enter the yard and start pulling parts.
Step 3 – Pull bargain vehicle parts!
Once you’re exploring our hundreds of rows of vehicles, the real fun begins!
You’ll find all our vehicles neatly arranged by make and model. Making it incredibly easy to find what you’re after.
Looking for a specific lot number you’ve seen online? Ask at reception and our friendly team will point you in the right direction.
Please leave the vehicles as you found them, so others can also benefit from the great savings our yards contain.
That means clearing up after you’re done, and leaving the lot in the same condition as you found it in. Doing this helps us spend more time focusing on delivering better deals for you.
If you’re stuck, or unsure how to pull a part – don’t be afraid to ask someone for help. Everyone was a first-time visitor once.
In addition, many of our visitors find YouTube an invaluable resource when they’re unsure about the next nut or bolt to remove!
Step 4 – Bag your bargains!
Once you’re done, wheelbarrow brimming with super savings, head back to the tills where we’ll process your wheelbarrow.
Don’t worry – it’s super quick and easy.
